Today was our last day in Rome. We were a bit sad but a bit glad being that our budget had pretty much run out. We saved the Vatican and the area around there since it is free the last Sunday of every month! Hooray! It was pretty cool. I think this was my favorite area.

Today we went to the shopping outlets which kind of left little to be desired :/ Oh well, it was a relaxing day after our busy week!

Today we walked around and explored a bit more. We had some Italian pastries and then some of the best Gnocchi that I have EVER had. It was so good we ended up getting it for dinner twice.

Today we took a day trip from Rome to Naples so that we could take a tour of Pompei and Sorrento and walk around Naples a bit. We took the fast train down to Naples which was pretty cool.

I can't even estimate how much walking we did today. We walked to the the colosseum from our hotel and all over. It was a really nice day and crazy to see everything up close and not in a book. It was a bit unreal.
