Today I decided that I would dig out some recipes and make some soup. This is partly because all I have wanted to eat lately is soup and also so I can be lazy the rest of the week... and also knowing that eating canned soup is not the healthiest thing in the world. This was an "Irish stew" the only thing that seems to make it Irish is that it has potatoes in it. It was delicious though!

Today we had a session of working with actors in the studio again. We did a quick script to screen exercise. We were given just a few props to use, the green screen studio, 3 actors and only one line of dialogue per character. The goal was to create a really visual script by just using the few things given. It was a challenge but a good exercise.

Here is a shot that I got.. I'm sure she really did wish she was on an island :)

It's working!! Yay! Now I can start to sew again. I made a pillow cover for fella's mom to match the curtains in her newly decorated room. Now I am eager to get back in to the dress making and I have a few things to alter.

The quality of this photo does not look that great.. but I was trying to take it quick in a shop and didn't want to get noticed. Haha! But I wanted to buy this dress... it was a bit too expensive for me so I thought I'd snap a photo and try to copy the style of it soon.

I had a nice day hanging out with a good friend. It was nice to have some girl time and catch up.

Tonight was the big night! The screening finally arrived that I had organized for us to show off our first semester films! It was such a fun night and I think that everyone really enjoyed it. It was nice to see so many people there to celebrate all of our hard work.

Today is Valentine's day... Some people love it and others hate it. I am not really a huge fan of it, there shouldn't have to be just one day of the year that you show your love to someone. But I guess it is a good excuse to actually stop and acknowledge it and do something nice together. I got some lovely flowers :) and then a lovely dinner that was made for me :) with some nice pink sparkling wine. The fella tried to copy a lovely meal we had in Italy. It was yummy but not Italy standards! (Sorry fella :P)

Today's photo isn't very interesting really but I did spend several hours sitting in the same spot today and glancing out the window at these shoes. They are on a balcony that doesn't look like a balcony. Needless to say, it wasn't a very busy (or productive) day!
