And we attended a pub quiz tonight and drew this creepy photo to go along with the news about the gal that ran off to France with her teacher. The "quiz master" said that there were some awful drawings tonight! Haha. So bad. Fun night though.

This is how awesome my school is... and we are not even a week in...

Our group (and one other group on our courses) got selected to pitch our ideas for our shows to the BBC today! HOW AMAZING IS THAT!? We got to hear other people's pitches and get feedback on our ideas. It was such an amazing experience and there are more to come as well :D

Today was the fella's brother's 30th birthday. First we went to drinks and then dinner at the Jamie Oliver restaurant that is a converted bank building. We had our dinner in the bank vault! It was too dark and small to get that great of photos with my phone but I got a few decent enough ones.

I took some photos for today but I will post them tomorrow in a separate post. Today I wanted to post about my wonderful dog, Colby, who we lost a year ago today. I dug up some photos of him (I may or may not have posted them before) and wanted to dedicate todays post to him and out of respect, didn't want to post the other photos today.

He was the kindest, most gentle, caring and loving dog I had ever met. He hugged you when you were upset and would not leave your side. He didn't like to be in the room when there was yelling or beeping. He loved to watch you change! (pervy dog!:) ) And he loved his walks and his people. We rescued him from a shelter and that is when our lives changed forever. Our family was devastated when he started having seizures and medical problems and were terrified when we had to take him to the ER vet one evening. Then the inevitable happened, that happens with all living things and we had to let him go. The house has never seemed the same with out him and our whole family will never forget the best furry friend we ever had. We will always love and miss our boy. <3

I found the Tardis and Dalek!! I didn't get the best photo of either one but I did get a couple. Also, walked around and explored the school area a bit more, which involved taking more pictures of course. ;)

Last night after the wedding we stayed the night at the fella's parents place since it was close to where the wedding was. In the morning, I made Scotch pancakes for breakfast and fella's sister made a yummy toffee apple pie for dessert later that night. :)

I thought this pub had a funny name. It is near the main campus of my school. I had to go and check in today and make sure that they knew I had arrived at the school from the UK border. It was nice to have a look around before the campus was flooded with people.

I took this shot from the bathroom of the cottage before we left... I love the view of the harbor from it!

We stopped in Inverary on the way home and got caught in rain again (haha!) but then it let up a bit and then we saw a cool rainbow :) while we ate fish and chips looking at the water. It was a nice end to it.
