Day 23: Scarf

This is by far my favorite scarf of this season. I love scarves though! :D

Day 22: Tradition

I love that crackers are a tradition here! We never had that growing up! We also enjoyed a fairly new tradition of "bubbles and nibbles." Here's to many more years of a fun tradition!

Day 21: Peace

I am finally at peace now that I put my last tray of cookies in the oven. We only made 5 different types of cookies! Hopefully everyone enjoyed them.

Day 20: Tree Topper

Day 19: Candy Canes

We didn't buy any actual candy canes this year, so this will do!

Day 18: Stockings

Day 17: Presents

Look at this haul! We have some lucky folks in our family with this lot of gifts!

Day 16: Outside Christmas Lights

Our Main Street is a bit festive with their wreath lights!

Day 15: Favorite Holiday Song

It is hard to choose just one! But I thought that this is one of my favorites from A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Day 14: Christmas Tree

We went to a nice holiday party at a friends' house tonight and they had this cute little tree :]

Day 13: Family

I wasn't around any family today but thought I'd post the gift I made for the fella's family cat! I made him little cat nip mice. I'm sure that he is going to love it!

Day 12: A Beautiful Sight

This one isn't Christmas themed but here are some pretty flowers. :)

Day 11: Green

My mom sent me a Christmas care package and put this little guy inside!

Day 10: Wrapping paper

I got to wrapping my gifts early this year! I think it's really enjoyable and you can think of the recipient as you wrap.

We've just returned from 5 days in Scotland! So here are the photos that I took for the days we were there!

Day 4: Joyous

Scotland is one of my favorite places in the world, I can't really explain it! So passing the Scotland sign made me really happy! (Apologies for the awful quality!)

Day 5: Today's Temperature

We were lucky to have a really diverse range of weather while we were away! We had sunshine and snow and everything in between. I loved every minute of it.

Day 6: Shopping

We saw this cute little sheep coaster while we were out. We weren't very successful with finding many Christmas gifts but we did our best.

Day 7: Bright

I didn't really know what to do for this one besides lights, so I thought that I would provide a mystery photo. Can you guess what it is??

Day 8: Ornaments

We stopped for some lovely hot chocolate and the shop we were in had this festive tree.

Day 3: Red

I thought that I would share this today as my 'red.'

I have been working on a few holiday themed knitting patterns and am currently working on this pillow covering. I absolutely love the way knit patterns look and find it a fun and challenging activity. They look so complicated but are actually really easy to do!

Well, this is one of my favorite holiday films. Unfortunately, when I came over to England, I couldn't bring some of my favorites with me. Day 1: Your view today

This is pretty vague instructions, so I thought that it could literally by anything "in view." Since the view outside my house is just a boring street, I thought that I would post a photo of our Christmas tree that we got today. And there are already presents under it! He is a nice 'view' from the couch!

End of Year 2

Well, that is the end of my second year of the photo a day! It has been good and somewhat challenging at times. I didn't always post everything daily, but I did take at least one photo every day. It was a good challenge for me.

I will try to post regular updates and photos but I can't make any promises! Hope those that were regular viewers have enjoyed the photos. See you soon.

Today is my birthday and the final day of my year long challenge! The fella took me to nice afternoon tea and then a lovely dinner. It was a really nice day :)
